How can National Safety Month make a difference?

We can all use this month to raise awareness about important safety issues like Aging in Place for our senior community. Did you know that injuries are a leading cause of disability for people of all ages – and they are the leading cause of death for Americans ages 1 to 44. But there are many things people can do to stay safe and prevent injuries. Spread the word and make a difference!

Each year, 1 in 3 adults age 65 and older will fall. Some of these falls will have a life changing impact. We can help educate you to spread the word.

Assisting Hands of Potomac, President, Steve Lorberbaum, Certified Senior Advisor provides lifesaving safety presentations all over Montgomery County as community service work to help improve YOUR safety. Come learn how to small changes can make a big difference in your home safety this month! Assisting Hands of Potomac, partners with Holy Cross Adventist Senior Source Center on June 14 at 1-2PM for a free one-hour presentation with Q&A time available on Aging Safely in Place.
